Doncaster Exhibition Saturday and Sunday 8th and 9th February 2014

We transported Bambury Shed in two vans and unloaded on Friday late afternoon. It was ready to go after about 3 hours of setting up.

The model was well received on both days, it being rare that the barrier was not lined with interested spectators; sometimes as many as four deep.

As a result of operating the layout at Doncaster, several changes are in hand - some fairly drastic! The whole of the fiddle yard has been lifted and will be reconfigured to make train movements easier.

The Canal end of the model has had the scenery stripped back so that the track curve can be realigned and the shed headshunt extended. This is to cure a couple of minor misalignments and adapt to the new fiddle yard layout.

These changes will be completed before September when we have been invited to the Soar Vallet Exhibition at Loughborough on 6th and 7th September 2014
